I am a professional caregiver since 2013, with experience in both residential and live-in care environments. Before this, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry and looked after my parents for a few years. I am confident and comfortable dealing with almost any medical condition, including dementia, Parkinson, cerebral palsy, motor neuron disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal injury, severe mobility impairment, end of life, incontinence, permanent catheters etc. I have a BSc in Medical Sciences and good observational and listening skills; I consider these essential for this kind of job. I see myself as a specialist in person-centred care, setting the good balance between the independence and freedom of choice vs. health and safety reasoning. I am a responsible nature, flexible, respectful and reliable. I love cooking, gardening, DIY, walks in the parks and talking to people. I enjoy learning new things, games and skills. I like to cheer my clients up and of course help them whatever hobbies they have. I am looking for long term placements, couple or individuals with any medical conditions and degree of support needed. I am available to travel nationally.
