I am a qualified social worker from Hungary. I have been working in the UK since 2008 as a self-employed live-in carer. Within these years, I looked after a client until the end of life for 5 years and after that I have been working for few months as a volunteer social carer to provide support to elderly people in lunch-clubs. My clients suffered from physical disabilities, stroke and rheumatoid arthritis. I assisted my clients with all aspects of daily living such as household tasks, shopping, cooking, assisting with medication as well as personal care requirements whilst encouraging independence and providing companionship. I am a good listener, compassionate, reliable, patient and a cheerful person. I like having good conversations with my clients and building good relationship with them and their family members because I believe it enables me to provide excellent service. I like to do gardening, reading, crossword, go for long walks, enjoy travelling around the world, looking at arts, paintings, listening to classical music or go to the theatre. I also enjoy watching documentaries about travel, nature or about any discoveries with my clients and enjoy a chat over tea. I am available from October 2018 and prefer 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off rotation. I am flexible to travel nationwide and open to discuss your needs.
