“When our father had a stroke we decided to employ a live in carer to look after him. We were unsure what to expect but Louise made the transition very easy for us by involving herself in all aspects of his care plan and the running of the house. Dad was not too keen on having a stranger living in his house but Louise was patient and understanding and they soon became good friends. Louise proved herself to be an excellent carer and housekeeper during her stay. We had planned for Louise to return but, unfortunately dad’s condition deteriorated and it became necessary for him to go into a care home but she kept in touch with us all and dad is always pleased to see her smiling face on the video call. We would have no hesitation in recommending Louise for such a position and regret that we were unable to employ her further.”
