“Lavinia worked for my parents for nearly 5 years, as a live-in carer, from August 2017 - April 2022. Lavinia was sensitive and knowledgeable in communicating appropriately with, and caring practically for, my mother who had severe dementia, whilst striking the right note with my father who did not, at that time. She was utterly kind and empathetic, and gave my parents the space to feel that they had choices and were respected in their own home. She became a real friend to them, and to the rest of the family. We will miss her a lot. Lavinia is patient, calm, and flexible in her approach, willing to adapt to the changing needs of her clients. She demonstrated the ability to support physical disability, using a range of equipment. She was meticulous in record keeping and good in communicating with the rest of the family so that we could obtain whatever was needed to support them.”
