I am a hardworking, reliable, and dedicated Health Care Assistant with over 20 years of experience across Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Domiciliary Care, and as a Live-in Carer. I pride myself on my excellent time management skills and my ability to adapt to a variety of care environments. Throughout my career, I have provided compassionate and high-quality care to individuals with a wide range of complex needs, including those living with spinal cord injuries, dementia, motor neurone disease, acquired brain injuries, strokes, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease. I am also confident and comfortable supporting service users with challenging behaviour and delivering personal care with dignity and respect. I am deeply passionate about improving the lives of others and ensuring that every client under my supervision receives the highest standard of care. I believe in a person-centred approach and always strive to support individuals in a way that respects their choices, preferences, and independence. I bring a combination of key personal skills to my role, including patience, strong attention to detail, excellent listening and communication abilities, adaptability, and an open-minded approach to new ideas.
