About Olabisi S.

My name is Olabisi Shobowale, but you can call me Bissy. With over 20 years of experience in Health and Social Care, I am a dedicated and compassionate Care/Support Worker, having worked with a diverse range of client groups, including the elderly, individuals with learning disabilities, and those with mental health needs. I hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care and continue to enhance my skills through regular training from various health and social care organizations. I am passionate about promoting independence and ensuring that every client’s dignity, values, and beliefs are respected. My approach is always client-centered, focusing on respecting their choices, privacy, and individuality. As a highly sociable and proactive person, I thrive in environments where I can engage with people from all walks of life. I enjoy building strong relationships with my clients and colleagues, and I am known for being an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Whether I’m working independently or as part of a team, I am adept at prioritizing the needs of my clients and working in a way that ensures their well-being is always at the forefront. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to adapt to any situation. I understand the importance of being both a good listener and an effective communicator, knowing when to offer words of encouragement or when to simply be there in silence. I pride myself on being observant, compassionate, and caring, always aiming to create a positive and respectful environment for those I care for. In my spare time, I enjoy running, walking, traveling, and reading, as well as embracing new challenges to continue learning and growing. As an outgoing, friendly, and warm individual, I am always eager to connect with others and share experiences that enrich both my personal and professional life. I am honored to have had the privilege of working with many wonderful clients over the years, and I remain committed to providing the highest level of care to all those I serve.
