About Tapiwa Cecilia S.

Hello, my name is Tapiwa Cecilia Saruchera. With over 22 years of experience in the care sector and a continual passion for developing my skills, I feel confident that I am a strong candidate for any role in the field. I hold an NVQ Level 2 and a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care, which has given me the knowledge and expertise to support individuals with a range of needs. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working with individuals with dementia (including various levels and vascular), Alzheimer's, learning disabilities, autism, stroke, palliative care, and elderly care. I have worked in nursing homes, supported living, and for the past 6 years, as a live-in carer. My roles have involved a variety of tasks including cooking, cleaning, providing companionship, shopping, assisting with finances, offering full personal care, feeding, incontinence care, monitoring and preventing bed sores, administering medications, and providing stoma and catheter care. I believe that what sets me apart is my natural leadership abilities and exceptional people skills. I am compassionate, empathetic, and a great listener, always aiming to create a positive, fun, and engaging environment for my clients. I am adaptable, energetic, and bring a bubbly, friendly, and kind personality to every situation. I strongly believe in maintaining a positive and dynamic leadership approach in all aspects of care. In addition to my professional background, I am a person with a full heart, someone who is truly invested in making the days of my clients more enjoyable. I also value the importance of safeguarding and handling emergencies with confidence and calm, which is something I always keep at the forefront of my practice. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my 8 and counting grandchildren. I love going to church, cooking, and enjoying music. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I look forward to hearing from you and am available at your earliest convenience for a conversation.
