10 years of live-in care experience

About Deborah E.

I am a empathetic and skilled live-in carer with a broad background in care services. My career began in 1992 as a healthcare assistant in a hospital setting, which provided a strong foundation for my work in residential care homes and domiciliary care. I have since developed extensive experience supporting clients with dementia, particularly Alzheimer's Dementia, as well as a wide range of other conditions, including Anxiety, Autism, Cancer, COPD, Deafness, Depression, Insulin-dependent Type 1 Diabetes, Parkinson's disease, Osteoporosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Stroke, Terminal Illness, and Vascular Dementia. After spending time in Spain working as a teacher, I now divide my time between Spain and the UK, working as a live-in carer. I have worked on this basis for many years, offering long-term care that allows clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes. My approach is warm, empathetic, and focused on providing individualized support that enhances my clients' well-being and quality of life.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending my free time pursuing hobbies such as reading, sewing, knitting, and card making, all of which bring me relaxation and creativity. These activities also help me stay patient, detail-oriented, and attentive—qualities I bring to my role as a carer.
