About Thenjiwe (Faith) G.

Faith is an experienced warm, bubbly, carer, who began care work in 2004, initially working in hospitals, care homes and in the community supporting service users with physical and learning disabilities. She worked as a Healthcare assistant in NHS acute trust from 2016 until 2019 when she moved into live in care initially caring for a couple enabling them to live in their own home for 3 years. Her experience in the community, hospitals and as a live-in carer has meant she has cared for clients with a wide range of needs including learning disabilities, clients who are bed bound, clients with different types of dementia, stroke, palliative care, and spinal injuries. Faith is confident using hoists, standing aids, caring for clients with stomas and catheters, preparing pureed food, and feeding clients who have swallowing difficulties.
