About Cathrine M.

Cathrine is a very experienced carer. She trained as a general nurse in South Africa in the 1970s and has always had an interest in health. Cathrine has also worked in real estate and brought up her family. She began working as a live-in carer when she moved to the UK in 2007. Cathrine spent time in domiciliary care before moving into live-in care but found it upsetting when she could not spend time with or get to know her clients properly. She enjoys being able to treat her clients with care and dignity. As a live-in carer, Cathrine has experience caring for clients who have diabetes, catheters, stomas, dementia, stroke, breathing problems, clients who are depressed and clients who are at the end of their lives.
