About Jacquie D.

Jacquie is a warm, friendly and very experienced carer who enjoys a challenge. She has been working as a carer since 2010 in a variety of settings including working with autistic children, as a domiciliary care worker and as a live-in carer. Jacquie now lives in France where she runs a Gite and B&B business, she flies into the UK for work. Jacquie has considerable experience with a range of needs and she has a particular affinity for caring for clients with all levels of dementia. She also has a wide range of other experience including stroke care, palliative care, and caring for clients with Parkinson’s and limited mobility. Jacquie has practical experience with catheter care and a range of hoists and other mobility aids. Jacquie loves her work as a carer, she has lots of patience, understanding, with an empathetic, relaxed, kind nature. She adores sitting with her elderly clients discovering their lives and providing the assistance needed for them to continue to enjoy life as much as possible.

In her spare time, Jacquie enjoys cooking, gardening, and making a nice comfortable place to live in. She has 2 large dogs, cats, chickens and ducks, so is more than happy to assist clients with their pet care. Jacquie also enjoys, walking, reading, playing scrabble and doing crosswords.
