About Ian L.

Ian is a warm, calm, friendly carer who has been working as a live-in carer since September 2017. He brings with him the ability to assist his clients with patience and empathy always giving 100% to the roles he undertakes. Ian has experience assisting clients with a range of health needs including dementia, Parkinson's, diabetes, stroke care and spinal injuries, he has practical experience with stoma and catheter care as well as a range of hoists. Prior to his career as a live-in carer Ian owned and ran a takeaway restaurant, meaning he has extensive experience in dealing with people and customer care. Ian really enjoys his role as a carer, finding it particularly rewarding that he can make a positive impact on his clients, assisting them to lead as full a life as they are able. Ian says he is a good cook and prepares nutritious meals according to his client’s individual tastes and he also enjoys baking. He loves animals and is very happy to assist with the care of his client’s pets.
