Anna L.

Anna is a warm, friendly carer with a quieter personality, originally from Poland with an Irish passport. Anna has been living and working in England since 2002; she speaks English fluently and clearly with a Polish accent. Anna has worked as a live-in carer since 2015 and has a range of care experience, assisting clients to live as independently as possible in their own homes in both a companionship capacity through to complex care. She has experience caring for clients with advanced dementia, advanced Parkinson’s and clients with limited mobility; she has practical experience of catheter care and is competent operating a range of hoists. Prior to her career in care, Anna trained and qualified as a dental nurse, a role she continues today as a locum between her live-in care positions. In 2015, she decided on a career change after caring for a family member and finding the 1:1 support she could provide very rewarding. She really enjoys her role as a live-in carer and particularly enjoys meeting new people and forming strong relationships with her clients and their families. Anna enjoys cooking nutritious meals according to her clients’ tastes and is an animal lover who is happy to assist with pet care.
