Linda H.

Linda has been working as a live-in carer since 2014, supporting elderly clients to remain as independent as possible in their own homes. Linda decided to move in to live in care after having worked in housekeeping and nanny roles since 2008, as she felt that the skills she had developed here set her up well for live in care work. Her background prior to this, included working as a qualified seamstress and machinist who ran her own small business designing and manufacturing bridal wear in South Africa. Over the years, Linda has gathered a wealth of experience caring for clients suffering with a range of health care needs, including dementia, strokes, diabetes, arthritis, poor mobility, impaired sight and providing palliative care. Linda is described by her clients as a kind and caring lady and extremely loyal and trustworthy. Her clients always come first, and she will always go the extra mile for them. Linda is also accustomed to demanding roles and pressurised situations. She has a passion for cooking, having worked as a chef, and clients have confirmed her cooking is of a high standard. She is a non-smoker and an animal lover.
