About Shobna B.

Shobna is a well-presented, articulate, friendly carer originally from Mauritius. She speaks English fluently with a soft accent. She has been living in the UK and working in care since 2006, and has experience in a variety of settings including within care homes, as a support worker, and in domiciliary care; she transitioned to live-in care in 2014 and hasn’t looked back. In her time working in care, she has gained experience with a range of healthcare needs including Dementia, Parkinson’s, Palliative care, Diabetes and clients with poor mobility. She has practical experience with oxygen therapy, catheter care and a range of hoists. Shobna enjoys providing tailored 1:1 care to her clients, she loves providing companionship and support to her clients to enable them to leave as full a life as they are able.

She has a passion for cooking and trying new recipes, she enjoys cooking nutritious food for her clients and if the client is able, she enjoys baking bread or cakes with her clients.
