Linda is a cheerful, friendly and warm carer from SA with a positive outlook on life and an enthusiasm for caring. Linda’s background is as a PA within the manufacturing sector, having worked for 9 years in South Africa for a company which manufactured sustainable green products. However, following a period of caring for her elderly father who suffered from Alzheimer’s, Linda found that she was well-suited to caring for others and decided to pursue a career in care. Linda has been working as a carer since 2016. She has cared for elderly clients in their own homes both as a daily carer and as a live-in carer supporting her clients to live as independently as possible. Her experience includes supporting individual clients and couples suffering from mild to advanced dementia (including those with aggressive behaviour), limited mobility, lymphoma, diabetes and palliative care. Linda enjoys cooking healthy meals for her clients using fresh ingredients. She is an animal lover, a non-smoker, and a car driver with her own insured car.
