Gail B.

Gail is a warm, well-presented intelligent carer. She moved to the UK and began working as a live-in carer in 2015. Before moving into live-in care, Gail worked in an architect’s office in South Africa as an architect’s technician. When she moved into live-in care, Gail found that she enjoyed everything about looking after someone and trying to enhance their life in some way, whether it just be by making someone comfortable or by finding ways to make their life easier. She says she tries to make her client’s life as happy as it can be. As a live-in carer, Gail has experience of caring for clients with poor mobility, swallowing difficulties, incontinence, dementia including (Alzheimer’s and Lewy bodies), and type two diabetes, end of life care, Parkinson’s disease and mild stroke. She is happy to assist clients with their personal care, meal preparation, medication, companionship, housework and assisting with their pets.
