Patricia S.

Patricia is a warm, well presented, flexible and experienced live-in carer. She speaks English fluently, with a slight accent but can be understood easily. She has worked as a live-in carer since September 2017 and during this time has obtained experience in a variety of roles including dementia, strokes, clients with limited mobility, catheter care and hoisting. Prior to her career as a carer, Patricia worked in a variety of hospitality roles in Portugal, including owning her own restaurant. She decided to move to the UK two years ago in order to care for her elderly grandparents and after doing so, she realised that a career as a live-in carer would be perfect for her. Patricia enjoys being able to support her clients, enabling them to live as independently as possible. She finds care work rewarding and is grateful for the opportunity. She feels that it is very important to get to know her clients as individuals and loves spending time chatting to them and doing things with them that they enjoy.
