Elena K.

Elena is a warm, empathetic carer with a quieter personality. Originally from Bulgaria she has been working as a live-in carer in the UK since 2011 and flies into the UK for work. Prior to her career in Live-in care she was a qualified registered Nurse in Bulgaria where she practiced from 1998 – 2011, she has a masters degree in Psychology. She decided on a career change as she wanted to travel and learn a different culture. She hasn’t looked back, she is passionate about her role as a carer as it allows her to use her experience and knowledge whilst focussing on her clients individual needs. Elena has a wealth of experience assisting clients with a range of needs from companionship to Complex care, including, Dementia, Stroke care, Parkinson’s, MS, Diabetes, clients with reduced mobility and Learning Disabilities. She has practical experience with catheter and stoma care, peg feeding, hoisting and other mobility aids.
