About Elzbieta (Ela) A.

Elzbieta (Ela) is a neat, well-presented, professional, and very experienced carer from Poland. She came to the UK in 2006 to improve her English and she began her career in care in April 2006, when she trained in a Kent nursing home for 8 months. Ela has been providing live-in care since 2006 to a variety of clients, many of whom were long-term where she was the main carer and assisted her clients with complex health needs including Parkinson’s disease, dementia, reduced mobility, diabetes, strokes and palliative care. She has built up a good portfolio of clients to whom she was regularly asked to return. Elzbieta has a degree in English Language and after being a farmer’s wife and raising a family, she taught English for 5 years at the primary and secondary level in Gdansk. She is therefore proficient in English and is softly spoken with a mild accent. Elzbieta says that understanding the needs of her clients is the most important aspect of being a carer. She is a car driver and enjoys cooking.
