“Queenie has been an absolute miracle for our family. When my 92-year-old mother suddenly became unable to care for herself due to a UTI and its severe side effects, we were facing the prospect of canceling a once-in-a-lifetime holiday. However, within 24 hours, Hometouch connected us with Queenie, who arrived just in time to allow us to continue with our plans. During our absence, my mother spent several days in hospital, and Queenie visited her every day, representing our family with such care and dedication. When my mum was discharged, Queenie drove her home and took exceptional care of her throughout the second week. My mother faced challenges following her hospital stay, but Queenie managed every setback with professional skill, patience, and kindness. What truly stood out was Queenie’s ability to bond with my mum over their shared love of music, breaking down barriers and creating a warm, comforting environment. It has been a privilege to have Queenie on this unexpected journey with us, and we are incredibly grateful to Hometouch for sending her our way.”
