About Queen N.

I am Queen – a warm, bubbly carer with a genuine passion for providing compassionate and person-centred care. I have been working in the care sector for several years gaining extensive experience in hospitals, nursing homes, and care homes before transitioning into live-in care. Throughout my career, I have cared for clients with a variety of needs, including strokes, brain injuries, diabetes, dementia (both advanced and Lewy bodies), end-of-life care, and individuals requiring assistance with incontinence, catheters, and hoisting. I am confident in supporting clients with personal care, managing medication, light housekeeping, and accompanying them to medical appointments. My approach is patient-focused, and I take great pride in building trusting relationships with my clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported in every aspect of their care. I love making a positive impact on their lives, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

“Queenie has been an absolute miracle for our family. When my 92-year-old mother suddenly became unable to care for herself due to a UTI and its severe side effects, we were facing the prospect of canceling a once-in-a-lifetime holiday. However, within 24 hours, Hometouch connected us with Queenie, who arrived just in time to allow us to continue with our plans. During our absence, my mother spent several days in hospital, and Queenie visited her every day, representing our family with such care and dedication. When my mum was discharged, Queenie drove her home and took exceptional care of her throughout the second week. My mother faced challenges following her hospital stay, but Queenie managed every setback with professional skill, patience, and kindness. What truly stood out was Queenie’s ability to bond with my mum over their shared love of music, breaking down barriers and creating a warm, comforting environment. It has been a privilege to have Queenie on this unexpected journey with us, and we are incredibly grateful to Hometouch for sending her our way.”

I enjoy walking, watching TV, reading, listening to music, and attending church, particularly engaging in Bible listening. I also love going on holidays and spending time outdoors, whether it’s exploring nature or simply soaking in the fresh air.
