About Izabela K.

Izabela is a well presented, warm, smiley, thoughtful, empathetic and patient carer. She speaks English fluently and clearly with a moderate accent. A professional and respectful carer who has spent her life in the care profession and has experience of assisting clients with a wide range of health needs including advanced dementia and physical and learning difficulties. She has worked as a live-in carer in the UK since 2015, prior to her career as a live-in carer she had a 7-year career as a qualified teacher in a school for 12-21yr olds with Special Needs, working during school holidays as a live-in carer in the UK. When her family moved to the UK in 2015, she decided to move with them and having really enjoyed her live-in care experience she chose to move into live-in care on a full time basis. Izabela’s academic studies were in social rehabilitation and education of the mentally handicapped. Izabela feels it is important to be flexible, a good companion, to listen to her client’s needs, get to know them, help and assist them and also learn from them as they have a life-time of experience. Izabela says that communication is very important in the carer/client relationship. She likes to enable her clients to be as independent as possible, she enjoys getting her clients involved in activities they enjoy including gardening, cooking and cake baking, if they are able. She will encourage her client to socialise with friends, and will bake cakes for their visitors. Izabela enjoys cooking meals using fresh ingredients to her client’s tastes. Izabela is happy to assist in the care of her client’s pets.
