Kate is a friendly, down to earth, carer, who has always worked in the care industry. Prior to becoming a live in carer in 2021, she has worked in a residential home, independent living for adults with learning disabilities, and also with children with complex care needs in the community. Kate has experienced caring for those with mild to advanced dementia, diabetes, strokes, hemiplegia, early stage Parkinson’s, and learning disabilities. Therefore she has had experience with hoists and standing aids, catheter care, and palliative care. Since trying live in care, she has really enjoyed it. She loves caring for people, and building a good relationship. Kate likes the fact you can make someone happy, and more independent.
