About Heather P.

Heather is a warm, personable, friendly, very experienced carer. She has been working in care since 1993 in a variety of different health care settings, including Care homes, domiciliary care and in hospitals before transitioning to live-in care in 2012. Over the years, Heather has supported clients with a variety of different health needs including Advanced Dementia, Parkinson’s, Diabetes and those with limited mobility. She also has experience with stroke care and Palliative care; she has assisted with specialist equipment including stoma and catheter care, a range of hoists and oxygen therapy. Heather says that she finds it extremely rewarding being able to support someone to lead as full a life as they are able to. She enjoys providing companionship and empathy whilst ensuring a high standard of care at all times. She says working in care makes her fulfilled and happy. Heather enjoys cooking and will cook healthy meals to her clients’ tastes. She is also an animal lover and will happily assist with the care of her clients’ pets.
