About Gaynor P.

Gaynor Pireu is a well presented, friendly, intelligent and calm carer. She was born in the UK, but lived and worked in Johannesburg since 1976. She has worked as a live-in carer in the UK since September 2016, and has cared for clients suffering from dementia, Parkinson’s, diabetes, depression, multiple sclerosis and limited mobility, with experience of providing incontinence care and catheter care and using mobility hoists. Before she became a live-in carer, Gaynor worked in Community Development and she also set up and ran a film production company. Although Gaynor is a vegan, she does cook meat and fish dishes to suit her client’s tastes using fresh ingredients. She is a driver, loves animals and is a non-smoker.

Although Gaynor is a vegan, she does cook meat and fish for clients. She says that she is not the greatest cook, but can follow a recipe, although as she does not taste the meat/fish dishes which she cooks for clients. Gaynor can cook typical English meals, e.g. shepherd’s pie. She bakes vegan cakes.
