Christine L.

Christine is a personable, down-to-earth, and friendly carer who has worked with people all her life. She worked as a Prison Custody Officer before starting her care career in 2010 after caring for her family and finding she had the compassion and patience needed. She has since worked in a variety of different roles including as an Ambulance Care Assistant, in a retirement village, as a domiciliary carer, and working with individuals with learning disabilities. Since April 2021 she has worked as a live-in carer. Christine has a wealth of experience caring for clients with a range of needs including Dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke care, diabetes and end-of-life care. She has practical experience with oxygen therapy, catheter and stoma care, and caring for those with poor mobility or who are bed bound and require moving and handling, hoisting and the use of other mobility aids. Christine is passionate about her role as a carer, it is more than a job for her and she does everything from the heart and genuinely cares for the people she looks after. Christine enjoys cooking and likes to cook nutritious meals for her clients according to their tastes. She also is happy to assist with pet care.
