About Diane B.

I began my career working as a Receptionist, Secretary, Underwriting Claims Advisor and worked in the insurance for many year. In 2019 I embarked on a new career caring and have found this extremely rewarding. I have cared for the elderly - from companionship, to various degrees of physical and mental health disabilities. Duties have included housekeeping, personal care, cooking, shopping, taking clients too medical appointments either by taxi or driving them to appointments when vehicles have been provided and looking after pets.

“Diane is a good companion and an excellent driver. She is very calm behind a steering wheel and never exceeds the speed limit. Mum always feels comfortable in the car with her. She is also helpful when it comes to stacking Mum's rollator and wheelchair in the boot. She is great at taking Mum out and about whether it is to the shops or to a restaurant or for a coffee and a piece of cake. She answers the telephone promptly and deals with any medical problems Mum has, quickly and efficiently. She is very caring, gentle and kind and shows great interest in Mum's family! She helps Mum with jigsaw puzzles and plays a reasonable game of Scrabble. Diane is attentive and anticipates Mum's needs well. She treats Mum as she would her own Mum.”
