About Simangele Z.

Watching my beloved mother suffering from Alzheimer's disease losing who she was, was a hard situation to go through as a family. Luckily, my mother was well cared for by professional carers until her final days of life. The nurses carers and doctors were all kind and caring. I was so touched by their care, Since then, I wanted to make sure I pay back to others who may need care. I had this passion in me, I got my first job as a care assistant in Bupa Care homes, were I developed my career, getting more experienced. I worked with the same company for Syears, and later moved to work in domiciliary care with Prestige nursing and care agency in Leeds. I cared for those in need of care in their own homes. I have done palliative care I, catheter care, stoma care, peg feed and dementia care. I fully understand and have what it takes to be a . good carer. I am great communicator and listener. I completed my GCSES in Zimbabwe, and also studied Access to higher education in Leeds City College, formerly Leeds College of Technology. I like going to Church and going for walks. I enjoy cooking and baking. A previous client used to nickname me, Mrs Mary Berry, because I am a great fun of Mary Berry, I love watching her programs if cooking and baking, and use her recipes. Caring is the word that defined me.
