About Thecla G.

As a caring and enthusiastic professional, I find great fulfillment in supporting others and making a tangible difference in their lives. My journey in the care sector spans several years and various locations across the country, where I have primarily focused on long-term and live-in care. I take pride in my ability to connect with clients on a personal level, ensuring they feel understood and valued. I have extensive experience working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including ADHD, Alzheimer’s dementia, anxiety, Asperger’s, autism, cancer, cerebral palsy, deafness, depression, eating disorders, epilepsy, HIV, and both types of diabetes (insulin-dependent and non-insulin-dependent). Additionally, I am well-versed in providing care for those with motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s disease, physical disabilities, spinal injuries, strokes, terminal illnesses, and traumatic brain injuries. My approach to care is centered around empowering clients and promoting their independence while delivering tailored support that meets their unique needs. I believe that a positive attitude and compassionate understanding can significantly enhance the well-being of those I care for, and I am dedicated to fostering an environment where they can thrive.
