I am a dedicated live-in carer and healthcare assistant with over eight years of professional experience, having developed a diverse skill set while working with various clients in different environments. Based in Romania, I frequently travel to the UK for longer-term placements, allowing me to build strong relationships with my clients by understanding their likes and dislikes. I hold a diploma in nursing and patient care, which enhances my ability to support individuals with conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, Asperger’s syndrome, COPD, cancer, cerebral palsy, deafness, insulin-dependent (Type 1) diabetes, mild cognitive impairment, motor neuron disease, non-insulin-dependent (Type 2) diabetes, orthopedic injuries, osteoporosis, Parkinson's disease, physical disabilities, rheumatoid arthritis, schizophrenia, spinal injuries, stroke, terminal illness, traumatic brain injury, vascular dementia, and visual impairment. Before my career in care, I worked in client services, where I was inspired to become a carer after providing support to a close relative. I find great fulfillment in helping others and am flexible to travel across the UK, holding a valid UK driving license. I also have a love for animals, particularly dogs, which adds to my caring nature.
