About Epiphania N.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in the care industry, having worked in a wide range of settings including care homes, hospitals, domiciliary care, and live-in care. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting people from diverse backgrounds, learning about their life stories, and supporting them in overcoming the challenges they face. My experience includes caring for elderly clients across various settings, and I am skilled in managing conditions such as dementia, strokes, Parkinson's disease, palliative care, heart and lung conditions, physical disabilities, and mobility issues. Additionally, I have supported younger individuals with learning difficulties, autism, cerebral palsy, dysphagia, epilepsy, acquired brain injury, and challenging behavior. I am proficient in assisting with all aspects of care, including medication administration, personal care, mobility support, household management, and providing companionship. The challenges I’ve encountered throughout my career have helped me build a strong foundation of skills and knowledge, which I continue to apply to ensure my clients receive the best care possible. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I adapt easily to both environments. I possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a clear understanding of my role as a carer, knowing when to involve other members of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. I am dependable, empathetic, organized, and flexible—a caring listener who is always ready to meet the unique needs of my clients.
