About Elzbieta S.

I have been in the care industry since 2008, mainly working as a live in carer. I have experience working with a wide range of clients with different conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, heart problems, autism, stroke, mobility and balance problems, diabetes, incontinence, depression and anxiety. I have helped clients with personal care, administering medication, housekeeping, doing laundry, ironing, cleaning and tidying, preparing healthy meals including for special diets, helping with exercises, running errands, shopping, arranging and accompanying clients to medical appointments and social activities. I consider myself a good carer because I treat my clients the way I would like to be treated. I’m a caring, dedicated and supportive person with a passion for caring for others. I’m honest, well organised and have a good sense of humour. It’s very important to be willing to go the extra mile, and I try to keep my clients engaged and active by developing personalised games and activities for them. It’s very important for me to build a good relationship with my clients and their families, and my priority is the well-being, happiness and comfort of my clients. I absolutely love sports and am a sports teacher and a swimming instructor. I’m always happy to help my clients with their exercises. I have a keen interest in psychology and watch a lot of documentaries and attend workshops on the subject. I grew up on a small farm and I love nature, animals, gardening and going for walks. I also like cooking, baking, classical music, theatre, opera, musicals and history.
