I am a friendly and caring person who has worked as a support worker and healthcare assistant for 20 years. I have worked with a range of people 18-90 years old who have experienced different health conditions and disabilities in a wide variety of healthcare settings. Ten years ago I completed an Occupational Therapy Degree. This has given me a deep understanding into the issues about disability, illness and age. I have enjoyed working as a Learning Support Worker with young adults 18-25 in the Inclusive Learning Department in a college setting for people who have severe to multiple learning disabilities.
I'm empathetic and use a person centred approach. The client and I work together as a team to ensure all their needs are met. I have a friendly and caring personality with open and honest communication.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends on day trips and sight seeing across London and visiting parks. I also enjoy table tennis, pool and trampolining and sometimes tiddly winks.
I'm available 9am-4pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 12-4pm on Thursday. Please contact me if I can be of assistance.
Wendy is a brilliant carer. I miss her so much. She really understood my needs.
