I have worked as a live in carer since 2005, providing personal support for clients with Parkinson’s, cancer, diabetes, depression, companionship, MS and clients who are bedridden. My extensive training in how to provide the best care and updates within the healthcare industry, has widen my knowledge in caring for my clients taking into account their individual needs.

I have learned to be patient and respect individuals wherever l go. I enjoy caring for my clients and always ensuring that I promote independent lifestyle when needed, thus allowing them to enjoy life better. As a carer, I ensure that I create a relaxing atmosphere whereby my client feels comfortable, allowing them to practice their own culture and also giving them choices.

I enjoy baking, cooking, learning new recipes, watching tv, going out for a walk, reading and learning different cultures.

I am flexible to travel and available immediately. Thank you for viewing my profile, please feel free to contact me.

Sybel cared for my father at his home for 1 week last Christmas and then for 5 weeks in April and the beginning of May. She was working as a full time carer and had cared for several other clients before this position. I am a retired registered nurse and also worked as a support assistant in Cowbridge Comprehensive School. I have known Sybel since last Christmas and she is a very competent carer. Sybel provided personal care for my father which included but not limited to assisting with personal grooming, catheter care - emptying and changing catheter bags, administering medication and ordering repeat medication, cooking and serving meals, laundry and ironing, general cleaning, shopping and driving my father to appointments. Sybel is a very thoughtful and calm person and was a good companion/carer to my father. She often spent time listening to his reminiscences and was very patient with him when his behaviour was difficult. Sybel is reliable and punctual. I was in regular contact with her and she always consulted me on any decisions that needed to be made. I do not know of any reason why Sybel should not work with elderly or vulnerable clients.
