Speaks English

I have been working in the care sector since 2008 and have gained exposure working in different care settings such as nursing homes, residential homes, hospitals and private residence. I looked after people living with a wide range of challenges including spinal injury, brain damage, peg feed, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone and MS.

I am a team worker who has experience liaising with care provider teams like GP’s, district nurses, pharmacists, social workers and co-carers when needed. I am also outgoing, hard working lady with a great sense of humour and empathy. I am reliable, easily adapt to situations and keen to continue learning more within the care industry. As a carer, I always ensure to respect client’s choices, cultures and maintain confidentiality. I am also able to exceed expectations under pressure and know when to take up matters beyond my control or capacity.

I like going out for walks, shopping, watching tv, having social or educated chat, walking and reading. I am also open to engage in other activities which my clients enjoy doing.

I am available for work now and would prefer a rotation of 4 weeks on, 2 weeks of but equally flexible. I am happy to travel nationwide, so please do get in touch.
