I have more than 15 years experience in the care industry along with various qualifications and been working in different positions including as a senior healthcare assistant, senior support worker, team leader and most importantly, as a live in carer. I have been working alongside different people and tasks without difficulty and ensuring the delivery of great care to my clients, their welfare has always been my top priority.
With my experience as a care coordinator of a group of care workers, I always ensure a clear and comprehensive communication within my team to provide excellent service. My effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills enable me to ensure the client's medical and social needs are met to promote good standard of living. I recently worked in a discharge team which means I have experience when clients are discharged to their homes from the hospital and I also assisted with training other carers in order to meet the client's medical and social needs.
I consider myself to be an enthusiastic, committed, reliable and flexible individual. I've got a caring nature with a sense of humour. I'm very organised and good at prioritising things.
I love cooking, reading, writing, going for a walk, watching TV when I have some free time. I enjoy taking pictures and fashion designing, sewing.
