About Anastacia M.

I have been working in the care industry since 2003 and I have experience working in various care setting and clients with different medical conditions. I have worked in residential homes, respite home, hospitals, supported living and community. I worked with individuals with various medical conditions such as heart disease, cancer, arthritis, diabetics, Alzheimer, epilepsy, mental health, traumatic brain injuries, down syndrome, Parkinson and MS. My duties were to provide day to day running of the home, assist with personal care, dressing, cooking, feeding, toileting, medication, shopping, attend appointment and to also participate in the community. I am caring, empathetic, conscientious and a hard working carer. I ensure that the care provided to my client is done in a way that will preserve the dignity, privacy, choice, independence, fulfilment and their rights. I worked with 4 clients who had a range of communications needs. A client I worked with had a profound hearing loss and I used to support her in the community. I learnt over the years how to interpret her body language and gestures to understand how she was feeling and what she wanted. I love travelling, listening to music, gardening and watching sports I am currently available for work. I am flexible to do 1 or 2 weeks on job rotation and only take on work within Greater London.
