I am Emmanuel, a dedicated and caring professional with extensive experience in supporting individuals with disabilities, dementia, and terminal illnesses. I’ve been working in the care sector since 2017 and I’m passionate about what I do and always take great pride in providing compassionate support to those in need. I assist with a wide range of personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, moving and handling, bedding, and meal preparation. I also help with shopping and ensure that my clients are comfortable at all times. I believe it’s important to always respect my clients' dignity, maintain their privacy, and speak to them in a calm and respectful manner. Before any care task, I always ask for permission, ensuring that my clients are comfortable and in control of their care. I take the time to get to know each individual, greeting them warmly and asking how they would like to be addressed. Understanding their preferences and maintaining their independence is important to me, and I enjoy helping them continue with hobbies like reading, singing, drawing, playing games, and doing crosswords.
