About Edita L.

My 12 years of care experience helps me to provide care service to the people I look after in the highest standards so they can enjoy every day of their life. I've started my care career in 2001 in America where I worked as a live in carer for 1 year. Since 2005 I'm working as a live in carer and PA for people with a wide spectrum of health issues - CP, MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia, learning disability, diabetes, cancer, traumas, etc. I have experience with moving and handling equipment and colostomy bags. I love being a carer and being able to help the vulnerable. I like to improve my client's life quality to the highest standards, make their life nicer, easier and happier. I like to help them with their daily life needs as well as assisting them with any activities related to their occupation. NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care I enjoy cooking, reading, walking, going out for coffee. I like geography and everything about cultures, countries. I'm mainly looking for hourly (day and night) shifts, but also available for emergency cover opportunities.

“Edita is very hard working and punctual. Very caring, pragmatic and her extensive experience with the elderly really shines through. I never had to ask her twice to do anything for my elderly mother, she adapted to the particulars of her care very quickly and showed great initiative in caring for my mother, planning ahead and making very good suggestions. An excellent carer who was able to engage with physio and OT with my mother when needed between appointments. All in all we highly recommend Edita.”

“Edita is very organised, efficient, a good communicator, great cook with a good sense of humour and good English. She drives safely, has a very kind, caring, determined, professional attitude. She has a very deep medical knowledge and a thirst to learn more. She helped us as a family when we were at out lowest ebb and I will always remember how much we valued her presence amongst us.”
