About Christine A.

I have been working as a support worker and carer since 2008. I have worked with service users with different medical conditions such as dementia, mental health, learning disabilities and clients with colostomy bags. I supported my service users with their personal care, dressing and grooming, cooking, feeding, booking and taking them to their hospital appointments and going to theatre /cinema with them. I am caring, empathetic, full of energy and open minded carer. I treat my service users like an individual, respect and protect their dignity as well as give them the chance of making their own choice and respect the choices they make. I always go the extra mile to make a positive impact in their lives. I also make sure that I treat my clients the way I would like to be treated, by supporting them to live the kind of life they want to live in their own home. I make my clients lives easier by, finding out what interest them most or rather how they think I can support them in achieving their goals. Mostly, I like supporting my service users by taking them to theatre or cinema, going to the pub and going on holidays. I like music, dancing, cooking, watching films and going to the cinema or theatre. I am available now for work and flexible to travel nationwide. I prefer to work either 4 weeks on, 1 week off rotation but I am flexible to discuss other options.
