About Yvonne P.

Hello, My name is Yvonne I am a very experienced, trained British carer working for over 20 years in the care industry. I love my job and the people I meet, whilst carrying out my duties to highly professional standard. I am always upbeat and tend to make everyone smile. I have excellent references and liability insurance. I am available for short or long term contracts.

“Since Yvonne came to us in May 2013, my 97 yr old fathers life has changed beyond all recognition. Yvonne quickly built up a rapport and an excellent understanding of my father's needs and over a short period of time she built up trust with my father (something my father rarely gives). Yvonne implemented changes to my father's daily routine, which better suited his needs, changed his diet to things he enjoyed and was able to eat, liaised with the GP to get dad on medication for anxiety and set up regular Chiropodist appointments. Yvonne's happy, bubbly, outgoing personality has brought my father out of his shell. I have not seen (in a very long time) my father laugh and joke, sing and dance the way he has, since she arrived. Worry and anxiety over his inability to do things has been replaced with fun and laughter. Yvonne's bubbly personality has been contagious. The family thoroughly enjoy their visits with dad, it has allowed us in whatever time we have left, to build some amazing memories which are so precious to us. On a personal note, since Yvonne's arrival, I have been able to return to the role of daughter, free from the stress and strain of a very unhappy father. She has given me back such a special relationship with my father, in his twilight years, allowing me to take a step back and enjoy my father's company and build happy memories. I know with her, my father is in the very safest of hands. To summarize, I would recommend Yvonne to anyone. I have found her to be a very bubbly happy person. Good at organising, caring, good at communication and liaising, attentive to a person's needs and polite. Yvonne is one in a million carers and I have met many over the years with dad.”
