About Memory S.

I have been in the care industry for more than 10 years. First I worked with a client for 5 years where I also managed to become part of the family. Alongside providing care for him, l used to drive him to his appointments and the bank, cook for him and help with other personal care duties. I have also worked for 4 years looking after a lady who had suffered from a stroke. I was her main live in carer, any my main duties were managing her medication, providing personal care, taking her out and making sure she is safe and feels supported. I have a good heart and l care about people as my own family. I'm compassionate, loving, caring, reliable, honest and a good listener. In my free time I enjoy listening to music. I'm also a gospel singer which makes me stress free. I like cooking, going for a walk or to the gym. I'm looking for live in care and available anytime.

Ok with cats or dogs

“Memory worked for our family for the best part of a year- being a live in carer -working on a 2 week on -2week off basis. Both our parents were severely visually impaired and elderly. Dad completely blind and Mum began with 40% vision, which was down to virtually 0% at the end) The only reason our contract ended was because due to the severity of their conditions-we felt that they needed to move into a care home. Memory completely ran the household-and looked after both our parents. As well as looking after them She cooked, did washing and light cleaning. She always kept in touch with me- letting me know any problems/ issues straight away. I would absolutely recommend her as a carer.”

“Memory worked as a live in carer and did a marvellous job. She provided excellent person centred care for my mum. She is an initiative person and is always endeavouring to deliver the best care. She has a fantastic rapport with Mum. When corrected she does her best to improve. Would most definitely have her back without hesitation if the opportunity ever arose.”
