About Lilian N.

My name is Lilian, and I am a dedicated, compassionate and experienced healthcare professional from Kenya, with over 7 years of experience working in the care sector in the UK. I have spent my entire time in the UK working in care, including the last six years specialising in live-in care.I have extensive experience supporting older people, those with dementia and alzhemiers, individuals with learning disabilities, people with complex mental health needs and those requiring palliative care. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to providing high-quality care that promotes independence, comfort, safety and overall well-being.I find supporting vulnerable people incredibly rewarding. Knowing that I can make a positive difference in someone's life, even through the smallest acts of kindness, gives me a genuine sense of purpose and fulfilment. When I first started working in care, I quickly realised that I had found something I truly loved.Caring for others comes naturally to me, and I genuinely feel that this is the career I was meant to pursue. Being able to offer companionship, reassurance and practical support while helping someone maintain their independence is something I find particularly fulfilling.I am a resilient, dedicated and enthusiastic individual who takes great pride in her work. I believe that good care goes beyond meeting someone's physical needs; it is also about building trust, offering emotional support, providing companionship and making people feel valued, safe and respected. I always strive to bring warmth, positivity and professionalism into the lives of those I care for.

Hobbies

Outside work, I enjoy cooking and baking, going for leisurely walks, especially during my breaks, travelling, going out and window shopping. I also enjoy reading newspaper articles, keeping up with current affairs by watching the news, and watching British television programmes and quiz shows. My Christian faith is an important part of my life. I enjoy reading the Bible, meditating and spending time in prayer at least twice a day during my personal time. I am also currently learning to swim, which has been an exciting and enjoyable new experience for me.
