About Faith A.

My name is Faith Ashcroft. I am a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Live-in Carer with 26 years of experience in care, including approximately 3 years of live-in care experience. Throughout my career, I have supported people with a wide range of care needs, always taking a person-centred approach and ensuring the people I support feel safe, respected, valued and listened to.I genuinely enjoy caring for others and take great pride in making a positive difference to people’s lives. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, patience, kindness and respect, and I take the time to get to know each person as an individual. Understanding their routines, preferences, interests and personal needs is important to me, as this allows me to provide care that is tailored to them and their lifestyle.I have experience supporting with personal care, medication, meal preparation, mobility, household tasks and daily routines, as well as providing companionship and emotional support. I always encourage independence and make sure the person I support remains involved in decisions about their care and day-to-day life wherever possible. With many years of experience, I am confident working independently and remaining calm and professional in different situations. I understand the importance of safeguarding and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. I am also warm, approachable and a good listener, and I enjoy spending time getting to know the people I care for.I chose live-in care because I value the opportunity to build a genuine relationship based on trust, respect and consistency. Being able to provide high-quality care in the comfort and familiarity of someone's own home is particularly rewarding to me. My aim is always to help the person I support feel safe, comfortable, valued and as independent as possible.I bring warmth, experience, patience and genuine care to my role, and I would be delighted to support someone in their own home while helping them maintain their independence and enjoy their everyday life.
