I have been working as a live-in carer since 2008, providing support primarily to individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, anxiety, cancer, palliative care, diabetes, and MS. My responsibilities have included assisting clients with personal care, providing companionship, administering medication, cooking, domestic tasks, taking clients to appointments, and helping with shopping. I am someone who remains positive and resilient, even in challenging situations. I believe this mindset allows me to deliver high-quality care to all my clients. My goal is not only to ensure my clients receive the care they need but also to make sure they feel comfortable and supported. I take great pride in making a real difference in people's lives through the care and companionship I provide. With the challenges that come with care, I consistently demonstrate patience, understanding, and compassion. In my spare time, I enjoy staying active with simple exercises, working on crosswords, coloring, going out for tea, lunch, shopping, gardening, keeping up with current affairs, traveling, and participating in church activities.
