My name is Tracey-Lynn, and I am a highly experienced live-in carer with over 30 years in the care sector. I began my career working in a care home for seven years before moving into live-in care, where I have dedicated the past 24 years to supporting individuals in their own homes.Throughout my career, I have gained a wide range of experience, including working with clients living with dementia, providing palliative care, and supporting individuals with disabilities and special needs. I am passionate about delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence.I particularly enjoy engaging clients in meaningful activities such as day trips, and outings to the cinema or theatre, as I believe these experiences greatly enhance quality of life and wellbeing. Building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of my work, and I take great pride in offering companionship as well as practical support.My motivation for starting a career in care began when I volunteered in a hospital supporting mental health patients. During that time, I quickly realised how much I valued making a positive difference in people’s lives. From that point on, I have never looked back.
