About Evelin B.

My name is Evelin, and I started my journey in care supporting a client with a spinal cord injury, which gave me invaluable experience in providing tailored, one-to-one care. In 2021, I began working in a care home setting, supporting elderly residents with their daily routines, health needs, and overall wellbeing. I later transitioned into live-in care, where I’ve supported clients living with conditions such as frontal lobe dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease. My areas of expertise include dementia care, mobility support, and helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity through emotional and practical assistance. I believe that building trust and offering consistent, person-centred care makes a meaningful difference in my clients’ lives. What initially drew me to care was my desire to study medicine, but due to the high cost of medical school, I chose to study finance instead. Although I appreciated that path, it didn’t fulfil me the way I had hoped. I started working in live-in care to save money, but as I gained experience, I discovered just how much I truly enjoyed the work. Helping others live more comfortably and with respect became my passion, and I haven’t looked back since.I am committed, compassionate, and calm under pressure, with a strong focus on providing high-quality, individualised care that supports both the physical and emotional needs of the people I look after.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, watching TV, and visiting museums. These interests help me relax and often provide a lovely way to connect with clients over shared hobbies or new experiences.
