My name is Petre, and I’m an experienced carer with a deep passion for supporting individuals in living with dignity, comfort, and independence. I have worked extensively with clients facing a wide range of medical conditions, including Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, asthma, stroke, and both brain and spinal injuries. I also have strong experience providing care to those who are wheelchair or bed bound, as well as clients receiving palliative care.My role often involves assisting with medication, and I am confident using a variety of equipment such as hoists, stoma bags, catheters, and zimmer frames. I provide personal care tailored to each client’s needs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, always ensuring comfort and respect.I’m a confident cook and take pride in preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs and personal preferences. I also have strong housekeeping skills and believe a clean, safe, and welcoming environment is vital to well-being.Over the years, I’ve cared for both elderly clients and young adults, offering companionship and support in daily life. I speak English, Romanian, Hungarian, and Italian, which allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and provide care in the language they feel most comfortable with. I also hold a driver’s licence, which allows me to support clients with errands, appointments, and outings.Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, cooking, reading, cycling, and spending time in nature—interests that I often share with clients when appropriate, helping to create moments of joy and connection. My approach to care is compassionate, respectful, and deeply human, and I consider it a privilege to support others in their everyday lives.
