About Judith A.

Hello I'm Judith, and I am a dedicated and compassionate live-in carer with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with a wide range of complex needs. Originally from Uganda, I came to England 20 years ago and have proudly built a life here. I’m the eldest of four children and from a young age, I naturally fell into a caring role within my family, especially when my cousin was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Watching the professional carers support her so she could remain at home truly inspired me to pursue this path—and I’ve never looked back. Over the years, I’ve provided one-to-one care for clients living with dementia, cancer, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, spinal injuries, mental health conditions, progressive supranuclear palsy, and end-of-life care. I bring warmth, empathy, and a calm presence to every placement, always striving to treat each person with dignity and respect. My skills include assistance with medication, moving and handling, personal care, companionship, pet care, running errands, cooking, cleaning, and laundry. I take great pride in creating a comfortable and safe environment where clients can thrive in the familiarity of their own homes. I believe in making each day meaningful for the people I care for—whether through cheerful conversation, attentive support, or simply being there with a listening ear. I understand the value of good communication, confidentiality, and respecting personal boundaries and values. Outside of work, I have a real love for travel—I’ve visited countries across Europe, Africa, and Australia. I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, skiing, surfing, going to the theatre and cinema, and discovering new recipes to cook. I also have family based in different parts of London and Leeds, which helps me stay well-connected and supported. It would be my privilege to bring comfort, joy, and professional support to your loved one’s life.
