About Fortunate M.

Hello, my name is Fortunate Muzavazi, and I am a friendly, kind, and happy live-in carer with 14 years of experience in the field of health and social care. My passion for caregiving began with the personal experience of caring for my father-in-law and sister-in-law, both of whom battled dementia for 2-3 years before their passing. This experience inspired me to pursue a career focused on delivering compassionate, person-centered care. I hold a BSc in Health and Social Care, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support individuals with diverse care needs. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients facing a range of conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, psychosis, schizophrenia, and mobility challenges. I have also gained experience in rehabilitation centers and have worked with young adults with challenging behaviors and children with autism. I am known for being a bubbly, compassionate individual who puts others before myself and loves to make people laugh. I truly believe in the importance of building meaningful connections with clients and creating a safe, supportive environment where they feel valued and respected. I find joy in cooking, baking, and gardening, and I cherish spending time with my five grandchildren. When I’m not caring for others, I enjoy listening to gospel music, which brings me peace and inspiration. I am deeply committed to providing care that prioritizes the well-being and comfort of every client, ensuring they feel supported and respected every step of the way.
